Exploring Probability and Statistics: Practical Tools for High School Teachers

Speaker: Dr. Héctor Olivero (Head of the Mathematical Civil Engineering Program, UV)

In this course, basic concepts of descriptive statistics and their use in data-driven decision making will be reviewed. Then, basic concepts of classical probabilities will be covered, concluding with the study of binomial and normal random variables.
